Nature Walks

Walking mindfully in nature has a profoundly positive effect on our physiology in every aspect.

Researchers have carried out studies on the benefits of spending time amongst trees, demonstrating that it creates positively calming neuro-psychological effects through changes in the nervous system, and that spending time in a natural environment reduces stress and lowers blood pressure considerably. Numerous studies show that both exercising in nature or wooded areas, or simply sitting and being outside in nature lower the stress-related hormones cortisol and adrenaline, which in turn calms our nervous system, regulating our blood pressure and easing hypertension.
