Self-Massage with warm oil for chronic fatigue
This ancient Ayurvedic practice is extremely soothing to the whole body, helping to calm our nervous system, lessening any feelings of stress, worry and discomfort, whilst encouraging our circulation and lymphatic system to flow easier. As well as soothing, self-massage is also invigorating, bringing numerous other health benefits.
It is an important self-care tool to help balance our endocrine system and our hormones, enhancing the sense of overall wellbeing on all levels- physical, mental and emotional.
The practice also helps us to rekindle the connection with ourselves and our own body, supporting the sense of self, easily overlooked in our busy lifestyles.
Use Rosehip or Argan oils as your base carrier oils, with the addition of a few drops of essential oils if desired:
Ratio- 1 tablespoon of carrier oil : 2 drops of essential oils recommended *please use organic oils where possible*
The following essential oils will be most helpful for chronic fatigue: bergamot, orange and geranium
