Self-Massage with warm oil

This ancient Ayurvedic practice is extremely soothing to the whole body, helping to calm our busy minds and our nervous system, lessening the pain signals, whilst encouraging our circulation and lymphatic system, and bringing numerous other health benefits.  It is an important self-care tool to help release and manage our pain, enhancing overall wellbeing on all levels - physical, mental and emotional.

The practice also helps us to rekindle the connection with ourselves and our own body, supporting the sense of self, easily overlooked in our busy lifestyles.

Use Rosehip or Argan oils as your base carrier oils, with the addition of a few drops of essential oils if desired:

Ratio - 1 tablespoon of carrier oil : 2 drops of essential oils recommended *please use organic oils where possible*

The following essential oils will be most helpful to relieve pain: rosemary, sage and vetiver
